It’s not how we fall down that counts, it’s how well we get up again! Sometimes it’s tempting to start to contemplate giving up before God has finished. We can start with great gusto but then somewhere in the midst of it all we can get bogged down, distracted, disillusioned or discouraged.

In this message Nigel Turner looks at two different accounts, one from the Old Testament regarding Nehemiah’s return to serve the King of Babylon, and the resulting compromise among the Jewish exiles he left behind in Jerusalem; and secondly the apostle Peter in the New Testament who boldly declared that even if everyone were to desert Jesus he never would, yet only a short time later he disowned Jesus and was left demoralised and disillusioned, he thought that he was finished but that wasn’t the end of the story, because God hadn’t finished!
