God Is Kind But Is Not Soft

Have you ever considered how to be kind without being soft? Is it possible?

In this message Nigel Turner examines what we can learn about the kindness of God through His justice in the writings of the prophet Obadiah, and the fulfilment of his prophecy against Edom.

Its roots lay generations earlier when one brother deceived the other out of what was rightfully his by birth, namely Jacob and Esau. This rift ultimately ended in the destruction of a whole nation, revealing how God’s justice takes it’s course over centuries and generations rather than in immediate fits of rage and vengeance, displaying His mercy and His kindness in the process, but ultimately that if things remain wrong He acts justly and kindly, but He isn’t soft.
