David deferred to King Saul in the Old Testament, even after he had been anointed by the prophet Samuel to be Saul's successor to the throne of Israel, why? In the new Testament Christians are instructed to 'be subject to the governing authorities' (Rom 13:1)
Are there ever times when Christians shouldn't submit to those in authority?
This message provides insight regarding these questions and why God loves us to learn to defer to one another.
