Spiritually speaking has Christmas for a lot of Christians become similar to a value product in a supermarket, something ‘less-than’ the ‘real deal’, something not quite as good as the genuine article?

At Christmas it’s easy to end up concentrating on all sorts of things, Nativity plays, Christmas parties and celebrations, presents, cards and carols, but in the process we can end up devaluing the true gift of Christmas, and lose the most valuable gift, Jesus and our relationship with Him.
