Some people question whether it’s God’s will for His people to be filled with His Spirit today, they believe that the early disciples needed to receive the Holy Spirit as recorded in Acts 2 to bring the early church into being, and for the completion of the New Testament scriptures.
But does God really want us to simply live out our life in Him without experiencing what Jesus promised to His followers when He said, ‘Wait here until power clothes you from on high?’ Don’t we need as much of God’s power to live well for Him now as people did whichever generation they were living in?

Is there a particular attitude that God requires from His people for us to be in the right place to experience the Holy Spirit?
