In this message, we look at Jesus’ challenge to the crowds in Luke 12:54–56 — the importance of recognising the times we are living in and discerning what God is doing.

Jesus pointed out that people could read the signs in the sky and understand what kind of weather was coming, yet struggled to recognise the spiritual significance of the time they were living in.

As followers of Christ, we are called not simply to observe what is happening around us, but to remain spiritually awake, discerning and attentive to the voice of God
