Remain In My Love

In this message, “Remain in My Love,” we are reminded that loving God is more than an emotion — it is a deliberate choice, a surrendered heart, and a life of obedience.

Jesus calls us to love God with all our heart, soul and mind, and to love others as ourselves. But what happens when the things of this world compete for our hearts?

Through the lives of Demas and Mark, and Jesus’ teaching in John 15, we are challenged to examine what we are choosing to love and where our hearts are truly abiding.

“Remain in my love.” — John 15:9

To remain in Christ’s love means choosing Him above the distractions, desires and attractions of this world. It means surrendering our lives to Him so that His life can be expressed through us.

We also look at the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10 and the importance of sitting at Jesus’ feet, listening to His voice, and choosing the one thing that truly matters.

In this message:
• Agapao — a deliberate choice and mindset of love
• Agape — love expressed through action
• The danger of allowing the love of the world to replace our love for God
• What it means to remain in Jesus’ love
• Learning from Demas, Mark, Mary and Martha
• Choosing surrender, obedience and devotion to Christ

May this message encourage you to examine your heart and ask: What am I choosing to love, and am I truly remaining in the love of Jesus?

Be blessed and encouraged as you listen.
